A regular guy from a small town. Moved a lot as a kid. Worked on farms, in grocery stores, and even McDonalds. Liked school. Did well. After graduating, joined the Air Force, and was sent all over the world on deployments. Later in my adult life, I bought a semi, drove the US roadways, and cemented a love for the gypsie lifestyle-always on the move; facing the uncertainty of each day; what trials and tribulations, as well as joys and blessings were going to present themselves. The unknown.
The one constant thru it all: music. It kept me grounded. It was there on the good and the bad days. No matter where I was in the world, or what was in my head, it stayed beside me. As with yourself and so many others, you acquire the soundtrack to your life during these life experiences. They shape and mold you. You know exactly where you were or what you were doing when you hear a specific song play.
That’s where I go each and every time I perform. I transport myself back to those moments in time, and if I can recreate the songs with enough emotion and honesty, I pray that it carries you there with me. That’s the goal, anyways. I want you to come away saying that you felt something positive. Something honest. Something real. We were all born with a soul; it should be cherished, nurtured. and healed. I believe music was given to us by God to do just that.
